In 1950 the Government of Turkey established The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) to represent the private sector and ensuring unity and solidarity between the chambers and commodity exchanges.

There are 113 commodity exchanges in the country and the purpose is to engage in the sale and purchase of the products in the market and provides service to the farmers and producers in each region, and you can find out the daily prices of each commodity you are looking for through the responsible exchange. You can visit the TOBB website to see the list of the Commodity Exchanges.

Turkey has producers who have production facilities from medium to large capacities, each one of the producers is registered in the commodity exchange of their state. Since Gaziantep Commodity Exchange is one of the biggest exchanges in the country, you can check their website for the daily price bulletins and the exporters’ list. You can find exporters producing pulses, flour, nuts, grains, and many different sectors.

One of the Top suppliers of Grains and Pulses is Mis Bulgur Gıda SAN. VE TİC.A.Ş. MIS BULGUR was established in 1974 by Mehmet Avcı, and today MİS BULGUR made a respectful name both in the domestic market and in the foreign markets. They produce their products using hands-free modern machines to ensure the hygienic environment for their products.

You don’t always have to get your purchases through producers, you can always find Trading Companies that have their own warehousing facility. They buy huge stocks from the producers at the right time with the right price and store them in their facilities, which sometimes their prices will be even lower than the producer.
